“Chris in life was TAG Foundations biggest donor.  He was tragically taken from us at the tender age of 53.  Chris loved King Edward VII School and even coined the phrase Gods Academy, that’s how much he loved it.  Chris matriculated from King Edward VII School in 1982, he was an academic scholar and a Craven week rugby Player.  In his honour Jonny and Traci Gerber started the Chris Gerber Scholarship with the aim of having a boy in every grade being a recipient.  A golf day is held each year in his honour where funds are raised and his memory celebrated.  The shortfall in funds are paid for by the Gerber family in honour of all that Chris was and is.  The Chris Gerber bursary recipient is typically an academic Rugby player just like Chris was. We are extremely proud of our association and involvement in the Chris Gerber Scholarship.” – Jonathan Gerber
