There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about!
The TAG Foundation along with its very generous sponsors, donors, friends and family are determined to make a difference and change the lives of the very precious young men of King Edward VII School and young ladies of Parktown High School for Girls.
Founders Jonathan Gerber & Traci Stuart Gerber and Senzo last night hosted our lads, lasses, sponsors, donors, friends & family in a very long overdue 'get-to-gether'!!
Jonny emotionally described it as 'a watershed moment', as we were able to spend some quality time with our donors and our Tag Foundation beneficiaries. To have the TAG Family together for the first time since lockdown started and to also have our Parktown Girls' join us for a first event, was truly special.
Events such as these cement our unity, our strength in numbers and highlight our sense of what a community can do, when it comes together for a common cause.
This gathering allowed us to bid farewell to our matric lads, Samkelo, Camdyn, Wandre and Legae. Go smash your finals lads and finish strong!!
Our thanks and gratitude go out to our donors, the educators who look after our TAG Foundation learners and to the learners themselves. We are proud to be in a position to help make a difference and last night was a true reflection of just how great South Africa can become with the right approach, leadership and willingness.
It was a truly magnificent evening! Thank you to all who could join us and again we are massively proud, grateful and thankful.
