This determined, softly spoken but passionate young man, currently in Grade 11 joined us from Monument Primary in 2019. When asked what drew him to King Edward VII School, without hesitation he said, “the energy, the academics and the sport”. Having had a taste of the ‘KES way’, when he played in the KES Easter Festival, he knew he wanted one day to pull on the red jumper of the REDS. Clearly motivated and wanting to in the future pursue a career in sports, mainly rugby and water polo, he is focused on building and reaching those goals. He also has dreams of being an architect post matric.

2020 took the ‘stuffing’ out of all of us and Andrew felt the ‘losses’ too, not being able to play the sports he loves and also a ‘survivor’ of covid-19 is now determined to improve on his academics and hopefully make good strides in his rugby during 2021 season. His stepdad has been a great influence and motivator during the past years and Andrew wants to make his family and the TAG Foundation very proud of him. In his own words, ‘I am so grateful to TAG for this opportunity’.
