Katleho is currently in Grade 11. He came to the school from Carletonville at the start of the second term in 2019. His brother Themba was also a TAG boy. He matriculated in 2016 and is still very much part of the TAG Foundation family.
Katleho is a boarder in Buxton House. He enjoys being in the hostel and goes home most weekends, so he does not really get homesick. He says it is lots of fun and the boys are encouraged to concentrate on their schoolwork, which he believes is a good thing.
Katleho is an active person and enjoys being part of a team and meeting other boys. He plays rugby and is part of the athletics team in the third term.
Katleho commented that this school is vastly different from the one he was at before, as there are so many choices and so many opportunities to get involved in. He said things are taken seriously at KES and boys are encouraged to do the best they can – on the sports field and in the classroom. He also loves the traditions at KES as boys feel part of a brotherhood and he enjoys that.
