Mbuso attended Monument Primary School where he averaged 85% in the classroom and was the school’s top try scorer.  He is a driven young man with a passion for success.  Mbuso is a natural leader and is very popular with his peers.

He lives with the parents in Cosmo City and would not have been able to attend King Edward VII School if it were not for the TAG Foundation scholarship.  He says the scholarship can lead to a bright future for him and is an investment he hopes to repay one day.

What has impressed Mbuso about KES is how quickly the boys have built a loyalty to each other.  They have all come from different primary schools, but they have quickly become brothers – especially the hostel boys.  He is loving being a boarder and says the boys are treated very well.

Rugby is Mbusa’s favourite sport.  He played for the Golden Lions under 13 Craven Week and Sevens rugby teams.  This term he is playing basketball for the under 14B team.  He is training hard and hopes to move up to the A team soon.
