Checking in with our TAG Pride!
Taggers on the Move
My highlight will definitely be the last game against Jeppe which we won, injuring myself during the season was tough and just coming back before the last game was actually some sort of consolation and it was an amazing game and a great way to end a season!

Senzo Mkhize
- What have you been up to since leaving School?
Studied at NWU PUKKE where I studied a BA Communications and proudly graduated in 2019. During my time in Potchefstroom I was involved with the Leopards rugby and the NWU Varsity Cup. - What is your ‘NEXT’?
The Covid-19 pandemic like for so many, saw some of my future and immediate overseas plans dashed. I’d like to into the future ‘give back’ to the TAG Foundation, mentoring the incoming lads. The TAG foundation did so much for me, shaped me, gave me a wonderful opportunity to better myself, to be the best version of me. More than that, I’d also love the opportunity to be a part of one of South Africa’s media houses, possibly be able to play some more rugby and just keep grinding and striving to do better. - What Motivates You?:
I am motivated by my family especially my parents who spend their lives giving me the best that they can despite their difficult conditions, that motivates me to always want to be better, motivates me to go fight for my life and always push through.
- Shout-Out To the Class of 2020:
Lads, you had goals that you set out for the year and due to the pandemic you never got to see them through, but never stop working hard despite the uncertainties and chaos… anything is possible when you put your mind to something. Don’t stop working hard because this shall pass and when it does you guys should be ready to take on the world because there are many challenges that you will face in the future so this is the chance to build your characters, all the best! Red Army for life.
